Urban Design Partners is assisting properties owners Joel Trice with Encompass Building Group (the “Petitioner”) with a Rezoning Petition that has been filed with the Town of Matthews Planning Department seeking to rezone an approximately 4.28-acre site (the “Site”) located at 2216 E John Street from R-20 zoning district to the O(CD) zoning district (Parcel ID 227-221-34). The proposed rezoning is to allow for a new office building that is about 20,000 SF and associated parking.
