Hucks Road Multi-Family Rezoning Approved!
The site is approximately 50 acres and is proposed to be used for a mix of single-family attached and multi-family units. The development will have amenity spaces along with public and private roads to access the site. The site has numerous access points with a few being connection points to a possible future development in the adjacent parcel. Once completed, the development will have approximately 110 single-family attached units and 406 multi-family units. UDP is currently working on the construction documents for this site.
Raleigh Street Site Plan Approved!
UDP is excited to share that the construction documents for the Raleigh Street development has been approved! This is a 2.92-acre redevelopment project right outside of NoDa in Charlotte, NC. The Charlotte Film Society has given a home to independent and foreign films for several years. The existing movie theater and gravel parking lot are being resurfaced and redeveloped into a mixed-use center with an independent movie theater, gymnasium, and retail space. There is a multi-use turf area in front of the building that UDP has helped to design and the site will also feature a dry detention pond and full sized parking lot.
UDP Interns
UDP is happy to have some new interns for the summer in our Charlotte and Raleigh offices! Courtney is returning for a second year from Clemson University. Taylor and Chris are MLA students at NC State and are working in our Raleigh office.
