Monumentation design for UDP is more than a site entrance or landmark. Our clients want unique designs that combines the history of a project’s location and characteristics of the development. Our talented team ensures the design to be compliant with jurisdictional standards while being eye appealing all year round with purposeful plantings to complement monuments. Many of our concepts start as simple hand sketches that get transformed as an important part of the site design and character. Entry monuments give a valuable first impression to the public and our goal is to help define this positive experience.

For instance, the monuments at Trilogy at Lake Norman included “the furnace.” This monument was a nod to the metal smelting history of Lincoln County, NC.
