One Page Wonder:

The RDU team was not on board with sharing desks as new team members continue to join, so our Raleigh office is moving! Brian Richards continues to recruit amazing talent and grow client relationships. For our team to continue to provide outstanding service to clients all over the Triangle we need a little more elbow room (the projects also need more room!). We will miss our space, but are excited for the future and continued growth! Check out these behind the scenes photos of the new space!


Rhyne Station’s tale is unique compared to most, as UDP knew the property owner and was able to connect them with Prestwick who then bought the property. UDP immediately jumped to get the site rezoned! Rhyne Station is growing to become a large modern and innovative mixed-use development providing housing and commercial amenities to the community. UDP explored a variety of different site layouts and through a close partnership with members of City Council the rezoning was approved. Rhyne Station consists of 9 multi-family buildings with approximately 268 apartment units, up to 136 townhome units with 2,750-sf of commercial space and other amenities. The project has since moved into the early stages of permitting.


Caldwell Farms is a large mixed residential site located along I-485 near University City. UDP worked to successfully rezone this 5-parcel site to allow for the development of 184 townhomes, 397 single family homes and other amenities. Some exciting amenities on site are pocket parks and an interconnected trail network throughout the site. The site also has approximately 2.17 acres dedicated to a future Mecklenburg County Greenway!
