Trilogy Lake Norman

UDP worked with Trilogy® Active Lifestyle Communities to bring their first development to North Carolina. It is located just outside of Charlotte in Denver, NC near Lake Norman on just over 600 acres. Working from a previously prepared community masterplan, UDP was asked to provide planning, design, construction documentation services for the grand entry water feature, the 3⁄4 mile entry boulevard streetscape, and the Twin Mills Club and Events Center complex. UDP was also asked to develop a comprehensive trail master plan for the community that would include 7 miles of trails for walking, biking, and running, and would include amenities like a dog park and the Carolina Tree House. The Twin Mills Club + Events Center is a 30,000-sf clubhouse and includes a resort style pool, bocce ball courts, pickleball courts, tennis courts, amphitheater, hardscape, landscape, civil, and a water/fire feature. These construction documents included full landscape plans and details, hardscape plans and details, and site civil plans for utilities, storm drainage, and erosion control.
